Timothy Connelly was being held on theft charges in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court hearing and extradition to Yavapai County, A.Z., Mount Olive Police said in a news release.

Howard Schier, 51 -- who was Connelly's property manager at the time of the incident -- told police last December a check was stolen from his office desk and cashed electronically at the TD Bank in Flanders, police said.

An investigation found that Connelly took three checks from Schier's desk and cashed the one worth $1,350, authorities said.
